Our Programs

At Empower 225, we're dedicated to empowering youth to reach their highest potential.
Through a range of programs, we provide support and resources to address the unique needs of our community’s youth and families. From street-based outreach to adult education, our initiatives are designed to create opportunities for growth, resilience, and success. Explore our programs below to learn how we’re making a difference in the lives of those we serve.

Street Outreach Program

The Street Outreach Program provides street-based services to homeless and at-risk youth ages 16-21. We offer support, resources, and guidance to help these individuals find stability and build a brighter future.

Dreamville

Dreamville is an afterschool program designed to further the E225 mission by creating a fun, safe, and meaningful environment for teens. Our program offers a wide range of engaging activities, including career exploration, video games, leadership development, sports, field trips, and life skills training.

My Community Cares

My Community Cares (MCC) is a community-driven approach that brings together children and families with lived experience in the child welfare system, community members, and agency partners. Our services include needs assessment, parent and community cafes, advocacy, and solution-based case management. We focus on supporting families in zip codes 70802, 70805, and 70806 who are involved or at risk of becoming involved in foster care or kinship care.

Independent Living

Independent Living provides life skills training to youth currently in foster care ages 14-17 and case management to young adults who have aged out of foster care ages 18-23. Our services cover East and West Baton Rouge, East and West Feliciana, Pointe Coupee, and Iberville.

PTG Program

The Preventing Trafficking of Girls (PTG) Program offers preventative education, case management, and mentorship to girls ages 12-18 who are at risk or have been identified as victims of human trafficking.

Anchor House

Anchor House provides stable housing and support for homeless or at-risk male youth ages 16-21 in Baton Rouge. Our eight-bed family-style transitional living program aims to create a supportive home environment where youth can work towards improving their lives.
